kubô is a restaurant that offers delicious locally-sourced and organically-grown food. Juices and jams are made from 'ugly' fruit to impact the reduction of food waste. They are on a mission to foster healthier local communities through connecting people to real food and cultivating relationships between the local farmers and consumers. They aim to create transparency around where food comes from and how it is grown, the brand aspires to spark a change on how people behave towards food and inspire positive action—eating local and thinking global.

The brand strategy is to champion the local culture. The brand name and identity elements are deeply inspired by the iconic bahay kubo, a type of stilt house that is indigenous to the cultures of the Philippines. It's also a reference from the local folk song "Bahay Kubo", where the house is said to be surrounded by various healthy fruits and vegetables.
