The Skateroom is a social entrepreneurship whose main purpose is to help empower youth using art and skateboarding. They collaborate with contemporary artists to create editions of artwork on the medium of skateboards. Artists The Skateroom has collaborated with include Ai Weiwei, the Andy Warhol Foundation, Nobuyoshi Araki and Paul McCarthy.

Our goal was to create an online store where emphasise was put on the story behind each product and collaboration. This storytelling aspect was a key aspect for the information architecture and overall design of the website. Together with the new visual identity and the use of large and detailed hi-res photos of products, it resulted in an experience where each skateboard felt really precious.
