“Rokanje” is a nightclub placed in Cetinjska, in the former brewery building that became a new and
vibrant nightlife centre in Belgrade.
We breathed a new life into this old demolished building, former accommodation facility for the
workers, with a very challenging budget (up to 20,000 euros). The brief has been that “Rokanje” will be a
rock club with live gigs and programs such as guitar lessons and rock festivals, so we refurbished it into a
place that brings a real urban cultural experience.
Our interior design concept was “cheap glam”. We were using reclaimed materials, recycling,
accentuating space, inserting some pieces that do not belong there originally.
