The first alchemical series explores the 7 stages of spiritual alchemy, as part of my personal inner and outer journey and the theme marks the source of my multiverse technique. We live each moment as an event that happens in parallel (yet interconnected) levels of reality, from micro to macro, with some essential events happening on invisible layers, becoming the seed of macro events shaping the course of our destiny as major events that are visibly witnessed.
The microverse technique aims to access this alchemical level of our existence by superposing various layers and points of view inside the artwork or during the creation process, through various technical combinations such as: the work is photographed in a certain moment in time/light/creation process, in its entirety or as a significant detail, printed as giclée, and thus becomes “seen” and rediscovered again, leading to new superpositions of repainted, relayered touches. Through multiverse, some perspectives of the surface become blurred from certain angles, while others can be touched like earth, as the co-existence of multiple dimensions of real and virtual, ultimately leading to a synesthetic contemplation of the artwork and moreover, as a bridge between what I call the good contemplation (leading to genuine inner change, movement and "doing") and action, back and forth. Synesthesia is not just about the senses, it’s about how the spirit moves through them all. An artwork is a breathing entity, since its conception till infinity, and this technique is meant to immortalize the superposed, constantly moving and evolving layers of existence that are reflected in it, and they are essentially alchemical.
