AFTER! Now the mirror reflects a serene and pleasing graphic that provides color and movement. A much improved morning view.
BEFORE , the mirroed vanity reflected nothing but blandness. Looking in the mirror first thing in the morning was very depressing.

AFTER: The long wall was originally painted a dull ivory. The lack of life was exaserbated by being reflected in the wall to wall mirror opposite. Painting a graphic using colors and pattern taken from the new area rug, gives life and movement to the room. 
This was the original rug - dull and lifeless like the rest of the room.
Taking the bath from drab to fab began with the floral area rug that became the basis of the color palette. I pulled in other colors for accent.
BEFORE painting the wall Suntan Yellow. There's really nothing neutral about white. It's a color that affects space like any other color. In this case, it was dull and drab.
A windowless room can feel dark and drab. The rich Suntan Yellow painted on two adjacent walls not only gave the room a sunny disposition, but visually balanced the awkward shoe box shape.
