With all the different types of envoys of the spring around,
like daffodils and tulips, the small poppies at the edges of the fields are often not paid attention to.
The just opened blossom reminds me of crinkly parchment paper and is as fragile that with the first stronger rain it breakes, just to rise again the following year to announce the arrival of spring once again.
It's a never ending cycle which applies to all life.
