The Quarts Clock project, was aimed at creating a versatile quarts clock through a cyclic process of ideation, development, refinement and presentation.
This is a demonstration of my final product. I used very calm and light colours - to create a product that could be placed into any environment, whether it be office space or work spaces.
These very natural and neutral colours, compliment each other, allowing for them to be seen from any place in a room.
The next slides, depict desk tops and settings in which size can be determined and the colours used, can be seen in a real life setting.
Coffee Table.
Bedside tables.
Office desks and waiting room tables.
I used 6 components that were made in Solidworks for my clock.
These 6 components were rendered and then assembled in Solidworks.
The CAD software (solidworks), I used to develop and refine my clock in and a drawing of the components.
A mock up of my final clock out of mounting board.
Other clock structures for the body that I originally thought of using out of brown cardboard.
