999. A collection of questions about contemporary living.
@ Triennale di Milano
January 12 - April 2, 2018
999 is an interactive exhibition on living that could be intended as a big house. A spacious house hosting a variety of ever-changing rooms, activities and relations. It’s a three-month long program of local and global experiences that connects with the general public through different hands-on approaches. A collection of 999 actual questions which becomes the fil rouge of this exhibition.
↳ CONCEPT
The visual identity speaks about the contemporary and the digital era, merging boundaries and overlaying elements so as to generate unexpected results. At a first glance it appears to be pure chaos, but it represents a dynamic communication that glues all the contaminations of meaning, media and layers of the contemporary period. The aim is to display the human perspective of the physical, relational and digital spaces that we live in through the creation of a system of variables.
↳ EXHIBIT
The whole exhibition appears as a small colorful city: the main avenue leads to the square while other side streets host many different spaces.
Both digital screens and analog media blend together in a fluorescent metropolis.
Billboards, screens, signs and banners mix with industrial structures in order to create a chaotic fairground teeming with life.
Project designed during the collaboration with quattrolinee.
