Overfishing is the largest single impact on marine ecosystems today. Long threads hang from the stitched typography to represent the amount of fishing lines in our oceans. Thick embroidery thread used to create block colour and communicate the scale of the imbalance.

Solution
Global fishing could be virtually wiped out by 2050 if drastic changes are not made in sustainable fishing practices. The pack below contains the ingredient cards for eight recipes that use sustainable fish. They have been designed to help consumers purchase and cook using sustainable fish choices. The origami fish pattern is made up of eight sections, each section represents a sustainable fish recipe.  All eight recipes together complete the pattern and communicate the fact that by changing the fish we consume we can help overfished and exploited fish stocks to regenerate.
