A semester long Independent Study that focused on patterns. I traveled to Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland and took photos of plants and flowers in each of the sections of the Conservatory: Tropical, Desert, Mediterranean, and Orchid. You can see the inspiration drawn from each image and added to my patterns which are hand-drawn and colored by me. Each pattern has four different colored backgrounds to add more variety to the overall look.
