I've been so wrapped up in creating photos that are cutting edge, or have the trending style of editing. This shoot really brought me back to ground with the basics of a photoshoot. I didn't do anything crazy to the edits or to the composition. I just shot. I feel a connection to the shots in the car especially. While driving home from the shoot I notice my close friend, Nehir Onay, in the back seat. He hair was blowing in the wind and I just felt like I needed to capture it.
The indie-movie simplistic feel of this shoot really made me feel like I have more of a direction in my work.
