Nigel Wheal is a Project Planner that works on Major Projects and has done so for many years. However photography has always been his passion and means of maintaining his mental and physical heath.
When asked "Why Photography......" his reply was...
"Even with the cost of all the equipment today it is still far cheaper than paying to sit on some therapist's chair..... pouring your heart out hoping they can sort out all the issues in your life"
When asked about which genre of photography best defines his work Nigel stated..
"I have done most you could say and I don't really see myself in any of the pigeon holes.... It really depends on how I feel that day and where I point the car.... If I end up in the City, then it's a Street Photography Day. If I end up out in the Countryside landscapes would appear to the subject matter for the day. As long as I have fresh air and a camera in my hand it does not really matter what my subjects are...... All Road's Lead to Rome, as they say"
Where is your favourite place to go looking for images...
"That would have to be where Water meets Land or where Mountains Meet the Sky.... that should be cryptic enough of answer don't you think"
