A fun wooden Dump Truck that teaches early subtraction while you load and unload your moving truck!
The design was thought out to provide a learning experience that was full of imagination yet error controlled. It provides the child the joy and playfulness of carrying construction material in the form of wooden balls, and while they unload it they tactfully and practically learn the theory of subtraction.
The slope in the design provides a natural incline for the stored wooden balls.
How to play:
-The child places the blocking peg on top of the number that they want to take away (subtract) from ten.
-Then they open the door to let those balls roll down into the transparent storage slope.
- Once the balls are taken away, they shut the door and unblock the peg.
- The leftover balls roll down to reveal the answer to their problem.
Example: Child decides to take "3" away from "10" and puts the peg on "3", once the door opens "3" balls roll down into the storage slope and then when the peg is removed the remaining balls roll down to reveal the answer as "7" i.e. 10-3=7
