Introduction
The project involves the design and construction of the recepción and wine bar at OMEI, the best oriental cuisine restaurant in Lima. The design is mean to highlight the production of the restaurant's own wine.
Three Interventions
There are three complementary interventions:
1. The first intervention is the frontal curve which materializes by the ground as the bar and by the ceiling as the cup holder.
1.1. The curve unifies the reception and the bar.
1.2. The curve has a leading role, its beginning is next to the restaurant entrance and the rest faces the extension of the whole salon.
1.3. The curve exhibits pieces of Onix rock selected in México City.
2. The second intervention is the countercurve that materializes as a rack for bottles and machines.
2.1. The curve exhibits the liquor bottles and the wine cellars.
2.2. The curve gives privacy to the reception ambiance with a permeable bend.
3. The third intervention takes place inside the bar and consists of the custom design of steel furniture for the activities of a professional barman.
