limited edition vinyl package for swedish indie artist josè gonzalez.
His music is atmospheric and pure which I wanted to convey in my design. His technique and solemn sound is a big contrast to what is being played on the radio today which is heavily edited, upbeat and very much created on a keyboard as opposed to his "retro" approach which is use of instruments. His references to nature and the moon in his songs made it appropriate to base the design on it (its texture, its craters, the moonlanding, even vacumed food pouches etc) with a
retro touch.
