The majority of Polish hospitals suffer from the lack of clear and well-integrated visual information system which would facilitate proper communication to the users, and minimize the stress associated with the need fo move in an unfamiliar space, often under pressure of time and unfavorable circumstances.
A Józef Struś Multidisciplinary City Hospital located in Poznan, due to its extensive administrative and architectural structure, is the place where the above mentioned problem is a major impediment for both patients and hospitals staff. The presented project, developed in cooperation between the Poznan University of Art and the Hospital, aims to develop a clear statements in the space, which will improve the functioning of facility and make it more user-friendly.
Realised in cooperation with Laura Kolasińska, Anna Seńczuk (annasenczuk.pl) at the University of Arts in Poznań.
