Book Cover Design
Objective - Create a realistic and unique book cover design. Process/Design Reasoning - I found the image that I thought best represented beauty, grace, and well bad-assness. Originally I used red, white, and blue for my color palette. But I wanted to do something a little more fun, so I changed my color palette to the dark purple, turqouise, pink, and white. I think the purple lends itself well to the shadows of the image. The light turqoiuse and pink as well as the Desdemona typeface almost remind me of a glowing bar sign, giving the design a bit of an edgier feel. Body text is Proxima Nova.
