The Blind leads the Blind
A story about unique rehab center for blind people in the middle of Russia. It is a place where those who lost their sight study to live again. During elementary rehabilitation they learn how to read and write in Braille, to navigate in the city, to use computer and to manage with housekeeping. During professional rehabilitation they can take a course of shoe repairing, woodworking, bookbinding or needlework.

Music is also an important part of social rehabilitation.
The exam of shoe repairing. Only one lamp is on, because most of the students are totally blind.

Blind people operate computer with special program of blind access to the desktop.
The orientation and navigation lesson.
Shoe repairing exam. An awl is attached to a magnet so it can easily be found.
Before students start to the new route, they study 3d map of the city. Tram lines on the plan are made with red thin wire.
On the lesson of orientation and navigation two teachers work in pair. The first one who see helps to get an idea of what's around. The second one who is blind helps students to trust in themselves.
