PING Glide 2 Stealth Wedge
PING released the darker 'Stealth' version of the Glide2 wedge in early 2018. The almost black matte finish lended itself perfectly for a beautiful black-on-black image treatment. David Butler Photography shot the main cavity view of the wedge, and I added the face view rendering beneath the club to highlight the extra bottom half groove that was added only on the Glide2 Stealth and not the original Glide2. The look and feel of the advertising ties in with the G400 Max, G700 Iron and Vault2 Putter ad campaigns, as those clubs were also released at the same time as the Glide2 Stealth. My role was creating the ad visual concepts, art direction, retouching of the main ad image and lead designer.
