For the black and white project, the subjects photographed was stacked logs and a piano. The logs were chosen to be photographed because the rings in them create visual interest and the negative space between them makes the image have more contrast. The piano was photographed because the natural light reflecting off the keys and the many horizontal lines running across the image helps to lead the viewers eye across the image and makes it more visually interesting.
