Spying on Society
In 2013 Eben Moglen, professor of law and legal history at Columbia University and founder of the Software Freedom Law Center,  gave a three-hour lecture called Snowden and the Future. The lecture gave insight into the past, present and future of spying and communication control in connection to the revelations made by Edward Snowden. Inspired by these lectures, which were of an academic nature, we believed they deserved a broader audience.
We had the idea to make an animation series out of the edited lectures, so we cut up the lecture in a fragmented fashion to make a trailer out of it. The final animation was supposed to be used in a crowdfunding campaign, but sadly it never came to fruition.
