The Creature Compendium

A small collection of creatures I had finished for the January drawing challenge "creatuanary". I was unable to complete the challenge, but below you will find what I was able to finish.

Days one and Two. I quickly found that I was intensely uncomfortable with drawing bodies and just drew heads. For that reason, I ended up putting Big Foots face on his Foot!

Big Foot here is quite possibly my favorite thing I have ever drawn so far.

I finally managed to get some full bodies in there. This is when I discovered that a whale is really just a giant mouth with a tail.

And then I went back to heads. I was super uncomfortable doing this challenge. I felt like I was not prepared and didn't have the skills needed to complete the daily challenges, but I think (especially in the case of Big Foot) I found some creative workarounds to areas that made me uncomfortable and came up with some surprising results. I'm proud of myself for trying.
