The zeitgeist of punk is a collection of items, memories, and people that lived through the underground punk scene in Detroit. It’s a book that tells the stories that captures the spirit of the punk scene and shows the history and the raw energy that is still such a huge part of the punk rock movement. I created this book in the hopes of learning more about punk rock and as a way to connect with my step dad and learn more about his life by looking into something that was so important to him. Punk made so many people who they are today, and this is exactly the book that shows you how that happened, through the objects that were never left behind, the memories that are lasting a lifetime, and the friends that were made along their journey.
