Bailey Miller's profile

Steel Wool | Fire Long Exposure

My photographs come from deep within the pits of my mind. I struggle with the never-ending cycle of apprehension and fear about everyday life. Normal occurrences don’t strike me as normal. They stab and pry at my mind so that they may develop into something unknown; something that never disappoints my anxiety’s hunger. It feels like one side of my mind wants to stay peaceful and in control, while the other side of my mind is in constant attack mode. I seek to create synesthesia images that effectively display the contrasting, unexpected, and anxious deliberations in my mind so that those who might empathize have a glimpse at visual imagery to dwell upon.
