ROOTED
A collaboration between myself and a furniture design, Sarah Peetz. Both collaborators had a passion for wood and what can be made from wood. The title has a metaphoric meaning aswell, taking in to context that all humans come from the earth and roots, and we considered it to be the closest connection to the earth. Playing off the phrase "Stay rooted", ie getting in touch with the world. Products made were A3 and A5 illustrations of wooden masks on watercolor paper. Sarah making wooden products eg. wine bottle stoppers and a whiskey cabinet.
