Brief: Penguin student design awards
Create a striking animal farm book cover redesign insuring its as well executed and has an imaginative concept. Whilst all elements of the jacket need to work together as a cohesive whole, remember that the front Cover must be effective on its own and be eye-catching within a crowded bookshop setting.
Response:
The human hand represents capitalism and the irony of starlings reign of power. This image also conveys ideologies of the pig's becoming men within the narrative. I Incorporated the colour red into the design to correlate with theme of constructivism, which is greatly associated with this book. Using a variety of fonts enabled me to manifest the books visual identity and personality.
