History has proven that New Orleans is a resilient city. From the challenges of rebuilding after a great fire (Trivia: the French Quarter is largely Spanish architecture), war, and natural (& manmade) disasters. May 7th, 2018 is this great city's Tricentennial. New Orleans has thrived on diversity and it makes the culture rich in music and food, and a general joie de vivre. I used the colors of Mardi Gras, plus silver for the Crescent in the sky. Though there is some debate, it's widely believed Purple represents Justice, Green represents Faith, and Gold represents Power.
