I absolutely enjoy exploring new textures and using my paintbrushes and colors on them. This time, I was asked to design CUADRAās 2017 tequila bottle. It was such an interesting and fun experience. At first, I didnāt know if I should use different colors or not (I was afraid it might not look elegant), but after doing the test, the company chose the multicolor version. My personal favorite was the monochromatic one, but hey, this world is all about joy and color (and I still get to show you both versions)!
I used leather, honey-brown, green, and red pigments, leather conditioner, and a flat Rodin paintbrush. I really wanted to use flowers and the brandās āCā monogram, as well as the year 2017 interlaced with the flowersā leaves. I must say I am really happy with the way the final design turned out.
Plus, this year I got to design the special tequila bottle for the Mayan Rally (Rally Maya) 2018. Same techniques, different design. My favorite detail was the ring withĀ the handwritten destinations of this year's event.Ā Ā Ā
