FIB Magalog
For this project in ARTT355 I was tasked with the challenge of running a fictitious art foundry with 3 other classmates Katie Zeng, Drew Darden, and Sarah Gerlach. As a team, we needed to create a magalog that advertises and displays some of the world's best typefaces. In order to distinguish our magalog from the others, we advertised each typeface as part of an ongoing FIB (Font Investigation Bureau) investigation and presented the typeface's information in the form of criminal records.

This project consisted of six folders, one introduction folder and one folder for each of the "type crime families." These type families consisted of "The Modern Type Family, The Elegant Type Family, The Display Type Family, The Outcast Type Family, and The Tech Type Family. Our group worked together to design templates for the content of these folders so they would all have the same look and feel. My personal role in this project was compiling information and creating fictitious photographic evidence as well as 1920-1940 style advertisements for "The Display Type Family" and " The Outcast Type Family." In addition to that, I also did a great deal of research on criminal history reports from 1920-present day in order to give our design the most authentic feeling possible. other duties such as buying materials, printing, and compiling information were evenly distributed among team members.
