This diploma project is an infographic mural to educate visitors about design school life in Temasek Polytechnic.
Instead of describing facts, I wanted to convey the experiences which most—if not all—design students go through. In turn the infographic becomes more engaging because it deals with the emotional factors of design school life, which the viewer will relate to (if they are a prospective student) or can gain more insight of.

The concept behind this infographic was born out of post-it notes, which is a staple in academia. The title Been There, Done That is like a checklist of the experiences one will face or has already faced as a student in design school. The tone is rather light-hearted to make it seem as though the infographic is having a casual conversation with the viewer. This is further achieved by the multicolour palette and the relatively flat, retro cartoon illustration style. I chose a rounded san-serif typeface to portray the bubbly mood in the subtitles, which complements the other san-serif that is straightforward to present the facts.
