Parker 3D developed, fabricated and installed a set of 5 giant video trees in Nashville in 2017 for Townsquare Media. The tallest tree in the center is over 60' tall. The two flanking the 60' tree are 50' each and the two outer trees are each 40' tall. All trees are fabricated with an inner aluminum and steel structure that supports cabled LED RGB lighting. Every bulbĀ is programmed to light like a pixel on a video screen and any image, animation, live film footage, etc. can be displayed across all 5 trees simultaneously.

WeĀ used a set of massive Technomad Berlin 90/40 "all environment loudĀ speakers with a constant directivity horn"Ā for the sound system on this project. TheyĀ produced incredible concert quality sound that truly brought the video to life and immersed the viewer in the experience. The directivity horns reduced the acoustic cone of sound to face away from residential housing and towardsĀ a tree line on the otherĀ side of the property.

** Note that in this photoĀ you can really see how the wires of the trees actually overlap a little at the bottom. This was an intentional and difficult effect to produce. The overlapping parts really connect the trees to make them feel like one display.Ā
Simple motion animation of fun patterns of shapes and bright color resulted in dramatic effects.
