The pieces in the former project were photographed unfired. These are fired, showing the full beauty of the variety of clay's colors. These are larger pieces, In piece #1 I used 2 colors of clay and mixed them together to make the third hue, it is completely hand built.    .  Piece #2 has different oxides added to the clay. Piece #3 is wheel thrown and the tiny, thin lichen like decoration is pinched and added when the wet clay had set. Piece #4 is another example of altered wheel throwing with the lichen decoration stuck on with slip. Pieces #5 and #6 are made with the same white Spanish clay called "loza", also used for piece #3.
