Drawing - Clock Quartz Movement
The drawing above shows the clock movement with its components as well as the measurements. The drawing of the movement was done in order to understand the measurements of the clock movement so that I would be able to create or design a clock body that would be proportionally accurate to the movement.
Drawing - Clock body 1
This drawing was the first drawing of the Geo-Clock. I wanted geometric designed legs/ base with a circular face so that the harsh corners of the legs/base contrasts with the circular flow of the clocks face.
Drawing - Clock body with clock movement
This drawing shows the combination of the measurements of the clock as well as the clocks Quartz movement which was drawn to show the movement inside of the clock.
Video of Cardboard Geo-Clock
This is a video of my fully functioning cardboard handmade clock. I have designed this clock based on modern geometric shapes. This is a desk clock designed for a working environment. The cardboard model helped show me that the circular face did not work well with the geometric legs/base of the clock, hence I changed the circular face to a square face.
Solidworks - CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock Face with Clock Mechanism
This CAD developed close up of the clock face with clock mechanism helps to show that there were many components made in order to produce my final CAD product
Solidworks - CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock Legs
This CAD developed close up of the clock legs shows that there was more than one process that went into making the leg of the clock.  It shows this CAD was made in solid works and that there was a lot of work put into making this component of the clock.
Solidworks - CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock Legs
This CAD developed close up of the clock face shows the process involved in creating the face of the clock.  It shows this CAD was made in solid works and that there was a lot of work put into making this component of the clock, as it is made from a sheet metal component.
Solidworks- CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Full Front View
This CAD development image shows the full front view of what my Geo-Clock will look like. It shows a basic overview of the Clock from a front perspective within Solidworks.
Solidworks - CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock Face
This close up CAD development image helps to show the viewer the full face of the clock. It helps give the viewer perspective as to the size relationship between the clock arms and the face of the clock.
Solidworks - CAD Development of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock Legs

This close up CAD development image of the clock legs helps to show the view the geometric shaped legs and how they relate to one another, where they connect, as well as how they are equal in size.
Solidworks - CAD Detail Render of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock face mechanism
This CAD detail render was made to show an extreme close up of the clock mechanism.
Solidworks - CAD Detail Render of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock face mechanism which is cut in half
This CAD detail render was made to show an extreme close up of the clock mechanism which is cut in half to show only half of the components.
Solidworks - CAD Detail Render of Geo-Clock; Close up of Clock legs
This CAD detail render was made to show an extreme close up of the clock legs. It shows how the clock legs are in proportion to the clock face as well as the joining points between the clock legs and its face.
Solidworks - CAD Context Render of Geo-Clock; Design 1, on desk office, environment 1
This CAD render image shows how the first design of my clock will be able to fit into a upmarket office environment. The office space image was found by me at http://taxitarifa.com/graphic-design-office/. The render helps give proportion to my clock, as you can compare the size of the computer screen, keypad, and mouse to the clock.
Solidworks - CAD Context Render of Geo-Clock; Design 2, on desk in home office, environment 2
This CAD render image shows how the second design of my clock will be able to fit onto to a smaller home desk environment. The floating home desk image was found by me at https://za.pinterest.com/pin/257057091211188575/. The render helps give proportion to my clock, as you can compare the size of the laptop, mouse and lamp to the clock. The viewer can also understand how versatile my design is as the materials can be changed to suit different environment.
Solidworks - CAD Render of Geo-Clock; Design 3, on desk in home office, environment 3
This CAD render image shows how the third design of my clock will be able to fit onto to a home desk environment. The home desk image was found by me at http://www.bzpvip.com/index.php?m=tag&a=view&k=Twelve. The render helps give proportion to my clock, as you can compare the size of the computer screen, mouse and lamp as well as the distant phone to the clock. The viewer can also understand how versatile my design is as the materials can be changed to suit this different environment.
Solidworks - CAD Render of Geo-Clock; Design 4, on desk in office, environment 4
This CAD render image shows how the fourth design of my clock will be able to fit into a upmarket office environment. The office space image was found by me at http://taxitarifa.com/graphic-design-office/. The render helps give proportion to my clock, as you can compare the size of the computer screen, keypad, and mouse to the clock. This version of the design is similar to the first design however the materials of the clock face have changed
