Teletext (or broadcast teletext) is a television information retrieval service created in England in the early 1970s. Teletext in Polish culture brings great days of television back in memories. It’s a sentimental mark of late 80s and 90s. People remember using it as an advertisement page and source of information. Nowadays it is used in prison as a way to communicate with outside world. This fact makes it a perfect context for Orange Is The New Black series.

We’ve created landing page on both internet and TVP teletext with possibility to send their messages to the Litchfield prison inmates. All graphics (landing page and the character arts) were designed for Teletext so visuals could only have 6 basic colors (blue, red, green, yellow, pink, cyan) with black and white.
