Kingsize - Swedens biggest hiphop magazine

Kingsize is a hip hop magazine founded in 2004, Sweden. They used to have 6 magazines released each year, but in 2012 the magazines ceased to exist. The magazine kept on living thru the internet, but Kingsize lost a lot of followers.

Our brief was to bring back Kingsize to it's former glory.

We've made a complete overhaul of the identity, including a new yearly magazine with the option to buy a premium edition which includes a box and other accessories. The web also got an overhaul, including the categories and a new fresh look.

Magazine - k.17

The magazine is annual and contains the best things from the past year.
You can read about different artists and their careers, top charts focusing on the hip hop culture, commemorative articles and much more.
Web

The webpage was not up to date, the content had categories such as "tech" and even "video games", we felt that it needed a overhaul and that the main focus is hiphop and the culture around it.

The biggest part for Kingsize is the news-section and the interviews, and this is the first thing you see. We also created a new category that's called "Up and coming" where smaller artists can get exposure and depending on the rating system you can climb the leaderboard and get a constant exposure. We felt this was a nice way to give the readers some interaction and also use Kingsize as a way in for new, fresh artists.
