第 12 屆的風雲榜，根據台灣、香港、日本及東南亞地區在 2016 年度逾 110 億次的歌曲點播次數統計，
產生「年度風雲歌手」、「年度最佳新人」、「獨立創作精神獎」等得主。
典禮中邀請得獎歌手與重量級海內外嘉賓齊聚精彩演出，並透過各國電視及網路轉播；
更結合時下最新技術，為觀眾呈現包含典禮現場、表演後台、多視角、360 度全景網路直播、獨家橋段等豐富多元的直播收視體驗，
讓音樂愛好者無論身處何地都能彷如親臨風雲榜現場，創造年度最引人期待的音樂盛會巔峰。
12th KKBOX MUSIC AWARDS
Based on more than 11 billion streams over Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, and Southeast Asia within 2016,
the 12th KKBOX Music Awards identified the Artists of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Indie Artist.
KKBOX invites awarded artists and iconic overseas artists to deliver a splendid performance,
and will broadcast via TV and digital platforms.
More importantly, KKBOX is taking advantage of the latest technology to wow users by multi-camera
and 360-degree panorama that create immersive experiences through all formats of live streaming.
每一場現場演出就如同我們的生活般絢麗且多采多姿，也正是「LIVE IS LIFE」想表達的概念。
主視覺以 LIVE IS LIFE 三個字首的字母「 L、I、L 」結合12屆的「 12 」來做發想，
最後再以噴砂的材質提升典禮本身的質感。
