THE PROBLEM
The project brief was to create a visualization of information. I chose to create an infographic about the different shots, spins, and grips of tennis. Through years of playing tennis, I’ve noticed that some players have a basic knowledge of how to play and the rules of the game, but not more specific and detailed knowledge. These players do not know the different types of shots, spins, and grips used in tennis. More importantly, they do not know how the different components of tennis relate to each other, something critically important to know as a tennis player.

The OBJECTIVES
·   To provide a clear and concise explanation of the different shots, spins, and grips in tennis
·   To include relevant and relatable information about the different shots, spins, and grips
·   To demonstrate how the different shots, spins, and grips relate to each other
·   To show the information in a relatable way to beginner and intermediate players

The SOLUTION
Information Design
In order to convey the information in a relatable way, the information was presented with relatable, tennis icons. The tennis court, tennis ball, and racket grip were all used to measure the shots, spins, and grips.
