We’ve got approached by the European sunglasses start-up Beatnik to help them create the campaign for their online media and printed commercials. Beatnik itself – is a very special hipster American subculture form the 50s, the so called Beat Generation, started by a group of writers, lead by Jack Kerouac. That’s a theme in itself! Together we created a story about boy and girl, drinks, cigarettes, vintage clothes, sunglasses, music and love. Most of the shots were done on digital cameras, but we’ve added a few film shots, made on a 30-year old Minolta Prod 20s.
