dandelion + burdock, mapping specialists and long-time collaborators with Kate Dawkins Studio, managed the complex and creative challenge of designing and creating all the 3D projection mapping content for the Fast and Furious Live arena show. Kate as Creative Director laid out the vision for the projection content, which heavily referenced the films but took on a more stylised, graphical, game aesthetic for this show environment.
I was brought in as Producer to manage all aspects of content production and was the linchpin between the studio of 3D animators & modellers, clients, set builders, prop designers and Kate. I also coordinated the Disguise d3 programming and show-file amends throughout a month of live rehearsals with the show writer/director Roland French and his team of stunt drivers, actors and show crew.
As an added little extra there was a request for a live action crowd scene in the Miami wall comp. For this I organised a green screen shoot and upped the casting numbers by calling on my mate choreographer Tony Adigun and his Hip Hop/Contemporary dancers. I also worked with the show’s costume designers to source a super fun 90’s wardrobe.
While at d+b I also acted as studio line Producer for the Little Mix Glory Days UK arena tour visuals.
