unseen detail exhibition
Solo exhibition at the Print House Gallery in London. unseen detail responds to the physical observations of our daily lives. This idea developed from objects which we simply glance over and see as uninspiring, such as office ventilation diffusers. Viewed closely, most of these objects reveal complicated patterns based on mathematics. The patterns in the work are created with the same base. Simple mathematic equations creating a complex colour pattern distort the observers view. The structure of the piece is only unveiled when seen close up. The effect is similar to the “tick of the eye” colour tests.
