Karl Kjer: Merging Systems

Throughout the course of his career, Karl Kjer has worked to merge the positive aspects of both molecular and morphological systems (alignment of rRNA in phylogenetic studies). Having never considered molecular data to be something novel or new, Kjer has always striven to include and collaborate with organismal biologists in his work.
