The colour concept art of the character called Choice. As my final animation will be black and white I wanted to have a character design that showed what it would look like with colour. I drew it on brown paper with fineliner and pencil and I used purple inks to paint the rectangle behind him and use photoshop to paint the nebula using various brushes but mostly the chalk brush with varying scattering adjustments to make the spaltter effect to make stars.

This is the pose I used to create the character. I drew this in a life drawing lesson using fineliner for 30 seconds. Its nice to see a very quick and simplistic pose evolve into a full character design.
