The journal is designed to be used in the Mullion WildSpace alongside the National Curriculum (Numeracy, Literacy and Science) as an aid to learning and to re-introduce play and creativity into Key Stage 2. A series of prompts provide a loose framework without being ‘too directional’ to encourage the pupil to pursue their own avenue of interest and creativity, a principle of the educational strategy ‘Reggio Emilia’ from Italy.
