Operation Iraqi Freedom Infographic

This infographic poster was created to showcase statistics from Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since the war began in 2001, many people have forgotten that the United States, along with many other countries, still have forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. These graphics hope to shed some light on the War, and its soldiers.
This mapping graphic was created to give context to where US soldiers were being deployed from, and where in Iraq they were killed.
These pie charts break down first what percentage of the Operation Iraqi Freedom conflict is being fought by which branches of the Department of Defense (DoD). The second chart shows which branches suffer the highest number of casualties.

The charts reveal that the Army deploys the most resources, and takes the highest hit.
Many people forget that, although we are currently the only country that still has troops in Iraq, over twenty other countries have fought with the United States during the course of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The graphic demonstrates the amount of troops sent from each country.
