For class we were given assignment to work on while a couple of visitors from the Netherlands. We had to try make a soap dish. The class started by forming different groups, each group had one of the visitors. Once all of the groups were made we began by throwing all of our ideas that made a good soap dish. After that was done we all started to make thumb nail sketch's of our ideas for the project. we continued working of this for a couple of days, after those days were able to go on the computer and start making  a model. while making the first model for the soap dish i started to like being able to twist different sides together. A couple of day after i found out that the 3 different models would not render. I started to panic and started to kick into hyper drive and quickly create a new soap dish. 

   

These are the three different dishes that wouldn't render. 

These two soap dish's are the final work. the only thing that is different between the two is that one is made from a blue glass and the other is made from carbon fiber. Underneath the two soap dish's you can get a small metal tin that would collect the water that drips.
