The final exam for Typography I consisted of compiling all of our type experiments into a book and developing a type poster (see next project). I bound my book myself using illustration board for the cover and rubber cement with stitches to bind the pages. The average assignment started by selecting a certain amount of body copy and headline from a provided text. These would be arranged in a way that would convey emotions such as rest and calm or activity and action. We would present a series of 12 the next week for critique.
