Singapore Pasir Ris farmway
Pasir ris farmway has been home to many little ones or perhaps a second chance for the abandoned, abused, lost, stranded and handicapped dogs. It was one of the biggest and oldest animal shelters in Singapore. These dogs came from different backgrounds and have different stories of their existence. They are all desperately trying to find a new family. This farmway has about 1 thousand rescue dogs and 800 cats but all of them will have to leave their premises to make way for industrial development by the end of 2017. It may be one of the largest ‘migrations’ across the island. A wave of nostalgia washed over me. It is a shame that part of my childhood and a place that live close to my heart will soon be replaced and taken away from me.
