A TATTOO WITH A UNIQUE MEANING: IDENTIFY YOURSELF AS AN ORGAN DONOR.
According to the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica, there is a list of 1083 patients waiting for an organ transplant. And he did it by breaking one of the biggest myths in Costa Rica: "Tattooed people can not donate". A stand was created where people signed up as organ donors in exchange for a tattoo that symbolized their commitment to become donors.
The Vida Nueva Foundation joined the Paradise Tattoo Convention and found a way to make 280 people become new organ donors in a single day. And for those who were not at the convention they could sign up on the website www.afterlifetattoo.org
