Packaging Panettone di Natale

Context
Panettone is an Italian type of sweet bread loaf, usually prepared and enjoyed for Christmas and New Year. Our client Forno di Calzolari have asked us to design the packaging of the Panettone to be distributed to its clientele.
Process
We have first studied the size and ingredients of the Panettone, and tasted its flavors. The deep knowledge of the product and how it is produced has been a very important step. We thought about the different activities and moods during the winter, for example drinking a cup of hot chocolate, skiing, reading a book by the chimney, tuckling underneath the warm blanket, and playing with the snow. These activities inspired us to come up with the design of the box, we chose a recycled paper with a Havana color to represent the warmth and chose three colors (red, white and brown) to portray the winter and Christmas mood.
Solution
A custom-make Panettone box filled with illustrations, stories, and warm colors. Each box is a handmade piece and can be used different usages.
