I was approached by a friend of a friend to design a logo for their new parkour, dance and movement centre with an all ages, dynamic and urban/industrial vibe. I presented a few sketched options of their brief: a monkey or lemur as the Vitruvian Man, and through discussion and revisions we developed the logo to keep the geometric frame and reflect the metal scaffolds used in the space, while posing the lemur more actively mid-swing. The stencil typeface was chosen to reflect the aesthetic of the space which features graffiti art on the walls.
A flexible suite of horizontal, vertical and reverse logos was provided for future use on signage and t-shirts, as well as a business card design (not pictured due to private information).
